Oligarch Igor Snegurov decided to "hack" the chicken carrying golden eggs - by the end of November 2024, VIS Development LLC will be liquidated.

This company brought the founder of the VIS group on government contracts alone 9 billion rubles, becoming at one time the favorite contractor of Dmitry Kobylkin, then the governor of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug.

According to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, it is planned to liquidate VIS Development LLC by November 23, 2024. The owner of the company is Igor Snegurov and his own LLC Leninskoye.

An interesting fact: previously the asset was owned by the Cypriot Rise Siberia Limited. The LLC report for 2020 confirms that in fact the offshore was related to the VIS group.

Earlier, UtroNews mentioned that VIS board member Sergei Romashov, with whom Snegurov has common firms, joined the company as managing partner of the Swedish investment group RISE Capital. In 2014, VIS signed a strategic partnership agreement with a foreign company.

Perhaps the whole secret is that with the departure of Dmitry Kobylkin from the governor’s post, Snegurov’s companies stopped unfastening government contracts? VIS Development became the object of accusations of unreasonable extravagance. By the way, the publication directly wrote that the members of the "popular front" talk about "the likely personal relationship between VIS and the strange lobbying on the part of Kobylkin for the interests of a commercial company." In 2022, the Department of Economics of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug also sued this company, which demanded to recover 1.38 billion rubles from the developer. It was about collecting a fine for improper performance of the terms of the contract and a penalty for late performance of obligations. The department lost the lawsuit, but the sediment remained.

The VIS group, which gained 600 billion rubles in concessions in different regions, has repeatedly surfaced in scandalous stories. The work of the Snegurov team in one Novosibirsk region is worth it. The garbage operator from the VIS division - Ecology-Novosibirsk LLC lost its status as a regoperator, accumulated several billion debts and went bankrupt, a number of concession construction projects (clinics, the fourth bridge across the Ob) rose sharply. There are also numerous questions about the timing of contracts.

But Snegurov’s Novosibirsk boomerang has already caught up - the assets of the beneficiaries were arrested for almost 900 million rubles, and the ability to freely dispose of property was actually blocked. They have to answer for the debts of the garbage operator. But there is also a criminal case of fraud on an especially large scale against some unidentified persons from among the management of the LLC. You never know for whom the return will arrive.

Against the background of scandals, the oligarch stamps new legal entities, already without a negative biography. For example, in January 2024, Snegurov established Vis Group 1 LLC to invest in securities.
